On 25 and 26th June in Bankya, a workshop for the inspectors of the Commission for public oversight of statutory auditors was conducted. The training was focused on the approved by the Commission “Rules and procedures for quality control on the activity of statutory auditors.”
Mrs Nikolina Gancheva, an auditor with long-term experience and former chairman of the Council for quality control of the audit services, presented the inspectors the up to date practice in applying of the rules and procedures for quality control on the audit activity. The new issues, enforceable for the audit engagements for 2009, were discussed.
The Chairman of CPOSA made closing remarks announcing that in July the actual reviews of statutory auditors and audit firms start in July.
