He started his academic career in 1995 as an assistant in the Financial Reporting Department and from 2000 is an Associated Professor in accounting reporting, control and economic activity analysis. From 2004 he has been academic secretary of the Specialized Scientific Council on Finances, Accounting and Control of the Supreme Testimonial Committee.
In the period 1991 to 2001 he held the positions of manager and Director of a number of stock companies in the field of finances, investments, insurance, etc.
From 2007 he is a member of the Consultative Public Council to the President of the National Audit Office and a member of the NAO Commission for Audit Quality Evaluation. In the period 2006 to 2008 he was an expert for the INTOSAI Development Initiative.
The author and co-author of 5 textbooks, 2 monographs and a large number of academic studios, articles and reports. He has a long-lasting experience in the development of more than 20 investment, financial and managerial projects.
He speaks Russian and practices German.
